519 Sussex Drive
Using the most beautiful cottons, the finest wools and the rarest cashmeres, the Montreal family business ça va de soi has been creating soulful and durable knitwear for over 40 years. These second-skin pieces — primarily sweaters, cardigans, t-shirts, dresses, shawls and tunics — draw from the nostalgia of styles that have left their mark on history, becoming timeless.
Housed in a heritage building on Sussex Drive, the ça va de soi storefront is set in the heart of embassy headquarters, a hop, skip and a jump from the National Gallery of Canada, Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica and the vibrant ByWard Market. In this straight-line vernacular architecture dating back to 1850 are arranged the most beautiful cottons, wools and cashmeres in the house.
Knitwear House – Fine Yarns & Know-How since 1972. Cashmeres, Extra-fine merino wools and Egyptian cottons.
