Welcome to Carisse Studio Cafe* - Ottawa's only Photography Gallery/Studio & Eurostyle Cafe*. A take - off of Italian espresso pit stops that feature exquisite coffee, Italian paninis,and specialty desserts, served quickly, cleanly and deliciously. Inspired by my trips to Italy with my Italian mother. Studio Cafe is dedicated to her and to the art of photography - showcased by the works of Jean-Marc Carisse, my husband and photographer extraordinaire.
Studio Cafe will feature at least one special exhibit a year by working with embassies and cultural groups and inviting recognized photograhers from around the world to showcase their work, culture and of course their coffee.
On a local level - I hope to produce 'photo documentaries' relevant to our times and work with photogpraphers in Ottawa. We will showcase 'Ottawa's Best' upcoming photograpahers by working with our Universities, Colleges and Photography Schools and exhibiting the top of their class.
