Framework Music is turning 8 years old!! The German Sparkle Party theme is inspired by a worldwide sensation music video of the same name by “The Something Experience”. This is our chance every year to be silly and outrageous, let loose and have fun.

SO, WHAT IS IT?
A German Sparkle Party (GSP) is a fun and frolicsome celebration of all things shiny, blinky, glowy and dazzly, set to a soundtrack of the best underground house and techno the city has to offer. Trust us… it’s the PERFECT bright and light-hearted way to celebrate the arrival of spring after the dark winter months that seem to drag on forever in the national capital region.
AND, WHAT DO I WEAR?
SPARKLE PARTY COSTUMES, fun and bright outfits are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! This year’s theme is “The Glitter Fantastic”. Sparkles, Sequins, Blinky Lights, Glitter… let your imagination run wild! Bring your best look from the realms of fantasy and sparkle up Mercury Lounge with us!
Watch the German Sparkle Party video linked above to get some great ideas for your outfit – you’ll be inspired along with us to rock sparkly accessories and makeup, rubber boots and of course your party pants!
GLITTER TATTOOS & FACE PAINTING! A little something for those guests who want to add that one missing element to their sparkle costume and really take it to the next level!
* * Framework Music will provide all glitter tattoos and face painting FREE OF CHARGE for EARLY ARRIVALS, ending at 11pm. * *
After 11pm, tattoos and face paint design are still available for the extra low price of only $5 each! So make sure to arrive soon after our doors open at 9pm and let Framework help you SPARKLE YOURSELF! * *
Do you feel you need some more sparkle in your step, more flash in your Friday night? As always, we’ll set up our ever-popular SPARKLE STATION in the loft, allowing the woefully unprepared to get into the theme with some complimentary sparkle accessories.
ELI WILKIE BIO:
Eli Wilkie is a DJ and record producer from Boston, MA, now based out of San Francisco, who has been spinning for years around the nation, shaking up dance floors with his own blend of funky driving house music. His DJ career began at Boston’s underground Hibernia nightclub, in which he DJ’ed alongside the likes of Steve Porter, Luis Diaz, Paul Rogers, Chris Reavey, Paul Dailey, Fernando Bairos and Podje (Ireland). This residency paved the way for gigs in Boston and beyond, as well as for his career as a producer.
For years now, Eli has been actively involved in production, creating a wide range of house and techno music working alongside his close friend Steve Porter. Together Eli Wilkie and Steve Porter created the alias Agent001. The upbeat, bouncy and playful tracks under this alias have a unique sound, which was created through fusing the duos influences in music, and their ability to experiment with new ideas and themes. Tracks like ‘When Pigs Fly’, ‘Bubblebath’ and ‘Daniel Wiggy’ have had strong worldwide support by DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, Pete Tong, Sasha & Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Lee Burridge, Sandra Collins and James Zabiela. On the solo side Eli produced 2 remixes of ‘Impulsive Ray’ by producer Emrecan Cakir.
Currently a resident DJ at Satellite in San Francisco, Eli Wilkie has played alongside notable DJ’s such as Steve Porter, Lee Burridge, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Armin Van Buuren, Sean Cusick, Sandra Collins, Dave Ralph, Chris Fortier and DJ Dan; playing in such venues as Axis, Avalon and RISE (Boston), Stereo & StereoBar (Montreal), Sullivan Room & Le Souk (NYC), 1015 Folsom (San Francisco) and at a handful of venues at the Winter Music Conference, including State.
