Many of our area's most elite automobiles return to the ByWard Market on Sunday, June 1st, 2008 to celebrate the 12th year of ByWard Market Auto Classic.

A tradition since 1996, the ByWard Market Auto Classic is always held on the first Sunday in June between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

This unique auto show features an excellent collection of privately owned classic and collector automobiles that are displayed in several locations throughout the ByWard Market.  From Mustangs to Jaguars to one-of-a-kind classics, no matter what your taste, you're sure to find a car that catches your fancy!

When you come to the Market on Sunday, you can pick up a program that contains a map indicating the locations, various display sites, detailing the types of vehicles you will see there. Come on out before 1 p.m. to vote for your favourite vehicle! Awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m.

Registration:

Registration fee is $10 (being donated to a local charity)

Auto Classic 2007

Despite the looming clouds in the sky early in the morning quite a number of cars made their way to the ByWard Market on Sunday June 3rd. The day turned out beautifully and the array of vehicles that attended were amazing! Cars were lined up on George Street, in Clarendon Lanes, by the Millennium Fountain, in the Tin House Court, in Beaux-Arts Court and at the National Art Gallery. 

We had a first time experience at this year's Auto Classic with a husband and wife team winning prizes! The winners for this year's 11th annual ByWard Market Auto Classic Show were:

1st Place: Wayne James - 1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

2nd Place: Doreen James - 1956 Ford Crown Victoria

3rd Place: Bruce Evans - 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle
