Oholics are a six-piece psychedelic electrorock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They formed in 2005, when they discussed the lack of real rock acts in Sweden. Since then, the mission has been to create mind-blowing, beer-fueled rock tunes. The line-up includes guitar, bass, drums, sitar, lots of percussion and various synthesizers. Major influences include Primal Scream, Oasis, Syd Barrett, Happy Mondays, the psychedelic 60s and the punk scene.
The songs are usually jammed together by the band, and each member is equally important for the sound, feel and structure. They have recorded several times at Svenska Grammofonstudion, and are produced by Ebbot Lundberg from The Soundtrack of Our Lives. He has been an important creative collaborator with Oholics since he first heard them in 2006. Oholics have played all over Sweden and Norway. In London, they played the "Lost it in London tour" at different clubs, and the trip was a huge success. They are known for their wild live shows.
