The focus of "Politique" is pure pop bliss - quick, in your face melodies, indie energy without too much gloss, and dance punk rawness. Mallory makes the vocals swoon. Etienne pushes the beats into the red. Richard layers on angular, wire-y guitar everywhere. Roland whips up the Moogs and bass.
The new cd is available June 24, 2008 online and at indie record stores everywhere!

The Balconies was formed in December 2007 by Jacquie Neveille (Jetplanes of Abraham), Liam Jaeger (For the Mathematics), and Steve Neville. It is a collaborative project of three songwriters blending their individual musical styles together, resulting in a dynamic sound that is rich in vocal and instrumental textures, and is undeniably fit for dancing.
