TheGordon Harrison Galleryis proud to share with you that we established partnership with other galleries in the ByWard market to develop a brochure to promote art galleries in the ByWard market. This brochure will be available in a week at all galleries in the ByWard market, NCC, Ottawa-Tourism, 120 hotels in Ottawa, National gallery of Canada and our museums.
The Gordon Harrison Gallery is also organizing a walking tour of the art galleries in the ByWard market. The tour will be held on Saturdays starting at 11 am. The tour will start from our gallery and take art collectors and admirers through 11 galleries. The tour will provide an introduction of each gallery and provide time to explore each gallery.
The Gordon Harrison Gallery is proud to play a key role in the ByWard market and promote the diversity and uniqueness of the art galleries in the ByWard market to our residents and tourists. This is an excellent collaborative approach brought to you from 11 of the galleries.
Tickets will be on sale at the Gordon Harrison Gallery. Tickets will be $8.00. The tours start from the Gordon Harrison Gallery at 11 am and are expected to end shortly before 3 pm.

Stop by the Ottawa Public Health kiosk (located just outside the Market Office kiosk on the east side of the ByWard Market Square) to sample fresh market produce and to learn more about healthy eating.
We are placing the spotlight on locally grown vegetables and fruit.

The School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa Fall 2008 CALENDAR will soon be launched!
It will be available on-line at www.spao.ca, or in hard copy at SPAO on Monday August 11th.
Registration will open then for the 23 courses, workshops and Photo Safari offered from September 20th to December 13th.
This Fall session will offer exciting new opportunities such as Sports and Action Photography, Framing Art and Photography and a week long Photo Safari in Havana Cuba with David Barbour. SPAO is also proud to offer two special workshops exploring the signature craft of Henri Cartier-Bresson in collaboration with the X Ottawa Photography Festival.
