Festival franco-ontarien’s “Grand Défilé”
On Saturday, June 18th, come cheer on this year’s parade as it makes its way through the ByWard Market and see
extravagant and original costumes. The “Grand Défilé” will start at 4 pm from the Tin Court House Courtyard
(Clarence just east of Sussex)and end up at the William Street Pedestrian Area (corner of William and York) before
heading off to Festival Plaza (Ottawa City Hall) at 5 p.m.
The parade route starts from the Tin House Courtyard, heads east on Clarence, then goes south on Dalhousie, turns
west on George, follows north on Sussex, turns east on York to end at the WSPA. The “Grand Défilé” will then
depart WSPA at 5 pm, heading west on York, south on Sussex to Rideau towards City Hall. Musical entertainment
will be available at the WSPA between 3 to 5 pm.
Dance, sing, move to the rhythm of the music and be part of this extraordinary spectacle that is the Grand Parade!
