Nunavut Sivuniksavut is characterized as a silattuqsarvik (‘a place and time to become wise’ in Inuktut). Inuit youth studying at Nunavut Sivuniksavut will lead Inuit games and animate educational activities on writing names in syllabics, facts about Nunavut and the Arctic, and how Inuit communicate (facial expressions). The students will showcase Ajaja traditional songs, drum dancing, throat singing, and traditional Inuit clothing and tools.
