Two ByWard Chefs vie for Top Spot at 2025 Canadian Culinary Championship (Citizen)

They are chef Kristine Hartling of Oz Kafe on York Street, who won bronze last year; chef Dominique Dufour of Buvette Daphnée on William Street; chef Jason Sawision of Stofa Restaurant on Wellington Street West; and Patrick Garland of Absinthe on Wellington Street West. In 2014, Garland came first ahead of nine other chefs in Ottawa’s Gold Medal Plates competition and moved on to the national event.
