ByWard Market Caravan Contest: Shop Local, Explore, and Win!
Get ready to celebrate the holiday season in style with ByWard Market’s Caravan Contest, a fun and festive way to support local businesses while enjoying the charm of Ottawa’s iconic neighborhood. From November 15 to January 5, you have the chance to explore, shop, and enter to win a grand prize package worth over $500! This season, let’s bring joy to the community and keep our local businesses thriving.
How It Works:
1. Grab Your Passport: Start by picking up your Caravan passport from any participating business or the ByWard Market information desk.
2. Shop and Explore: To enter the grand prize draw, purchase at least one item from five different businesses listed below. Each store has its own unique color sticker; collect five different colors to qualify. Be sure to fill out the entire entry card to qualify for the draw.
3. Enter to Win: Once you’ve completed your passport, return it to the ByWard Market information desk to be entered into the grand prize draw!
4. Bonus Entry: Stop by our tree lighting event on November 22, 2024, between 4 PM and 8 PM and receive a bonus entry sticker at our information desk inside 55 ByWard Market Square.

Giveaway Period:
The Winter Market Giveaway runs from November 15, 2024, to January 5, 2025. All postcards must be submitted by 6:00 PM on January 6, 2025, to be eligible for the draw.
Prize Draw and Winner Notification:
After the giveaway period ends, we will verify all submitted postcards and randomly select a winner. The winner will be contacted directly by phone or email. The winner’s name and/or image will not be used in any promotional material.
Additional Rules:
The giveaway is open to Canadian residents aged 18 and over. Employees of the ByWard Market District Authority (BMDA) and participating businesses are not eligible to enter. Giveaway prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or damaged postcards cannot be replaced, so please keep yours safe.
