Founded in 1969, the band members with great pride, continue to represent the ottawa fire services, the city of Ottawa and Canada. Bringing traditional marching brass band style of music at a wide variety of events for the enjoyment of all.

February 2001 the council of the newly amalgamated city declared the band the title of ”Official Band of the City of Ottawa“.
